Josh’s Easter Post – The Easter Cat

Happy day-before-Easter!

Worshiped in majesty, the hare quickly became a symbol of Easter alongside eggs and Jesus. After much thinking about Easter I decided to Google Image search “Easter Cat” because why the heck not? We’ve had enough rabbits and eggs, why not mix Easter up with cats; we all love their soft and loving mews, so why not bring them to one of the most symbolic holidays known to man?

It may laugh in the face of tradition but so did YouTube when they launched a new homepage. This is why I’ll be eating chocolate shaped cats and going on an Easter cat hunt on this special occasion.

Haha, Easter Cat. When I was little, I used to have a book with tons of different cats in it – for example, fat cat, or surfin-on-a-wave cat.

What other holidays could cats fit into? We already have Santa Paws/Claws and black cats for Halloween, so what about Cupid Cat? Pilgrim Cat (for Thanksgiving)? Leprechaun Cat?

How about instead of baby new year, a new yer’s cat?
