Happy Hug-a-Cat day. Today just take a few minutes out to hug any cat you know or see. Whether that be a cat on a street – hold out the back of your hand and give it a good stroking (and avoid death) – or your household chum, it goes towards a good cause; happiness.

Any cat you hug today invests in the future, perhaps a day when you’re a little glum; can’t see the happiness through the trees or need a confidence boost, you’ll be able to count on your cat. Both sides gain. A hug for a hug, and eventually a smile for a smile.

And at the end of the day, there’s nothing like a smile. To make someone happy is one of the most rewarding feelings you can have. So, at least just for one day, today; hug your cat and give yourself a lifetime of joy – thank you.

Hug a cat today,

Get a hug tomorrow.

And avoid lions and death.
