Warriors Day Creative Writing Competition

I had the great privilege of judging, along with the lovely Ben Baglio, the Under-10 section of the Warriors Day writing competition. Of course I can’t tell you the winner yet, because they don’t know themselves yet. But both Ben and I were so impressed by the standard of story-telling, it was almost impossible to choose a winner.

Warriors fans write awesome fiction. I have a box of it beside my desk, and the creativity and talent that goes into it is amazing. It’s great to know that when our Warriors series finally end, the Clans will live on in the stories of our fans.

You even provide your own illustrations! Like this one by cybercatmia.

    Kate,

I’m always glad to hear of someone else with such a clutter problem, except I don’t have a wonderful series of books to blame it on. I’m going to have to think of some other excuse.

That illustration by cybercatmia is fantastic. Really professional-looking. Thanks for sharing it.

OMG, I wanted to ask you something, Kate. Is the fourth series going to be the last series for Warriors??? :(

  5. Kate says:

Amberflme – I can’t answer that – it is Vicky’s decision and she will be the one to ask.

Oops, I guess the clutter problem refers to a different blog post. Sorry.
Picture – It says The Cats of the New Prophecy. From left to right they are: Crowpaw (& I LOVE his expression), Tawnypelt (isn’t she elegant looking?), Squirrelpaw, Brambleclaw, Stormfur & Feathertail (sniffle). And the artist really nailed the eye colors.
