Where I write

Friday, February 27th, 2009

This is my study (on a neat day!)

I’ve just begun writing Echoes – OOTS2. I read OOTS 1 last week. Its fab – Cherith wrote it. She’s brilliant! You’re going to love it! But don’t ask me for spoilers – I never tell even though I know who the fourth apprentice is now.
OK, I’ve finished teasing. I just wanted to share my happiness really. Spring is coming (well, newleaf). I can smell it. The evenings are getting longer which is heaven. This is quite my favourite time of the year, (apart from Christmas and autumn and summer). I can’t imagine living anywhere without distinct seasons. Each one comes like a gift. There’s a pot of daffodils on my kitchen table and they’re beautiful.

Sorry I’m not posting more often. Life is BUSY! But I’m enjoying your comments and will try to answer more now that I’ve worked out how.

Allie Huff

I received a message through my site about a Warriors fan called Allie who is very ill in hospital. Her family are keeping a blog of her progress. I want to send her my very best wishes and prayers for her recovery. I hope she knows she’s part of a great Clan of Warriors fans who I know wish her well. Perhaps you can leave a message of support on her site too?

MSLYP Allie!

How could I resist? – it’s so cute.

And some of you have noticed the Bloodline link at the top. Thanks to the marvellous Twilight, my vampire novels have been getting more attention of late, so I thought I should give Bloodline its own page, if only to answer the question I get asked most…will there be a third Bloodline? (the answer in short is “I don’t know yet”)

Snow

Saturday, February 7th, 2009

Sorry it’s been so long. Bluestar’s Prophecy is finally written. I have concentrated on nothing else, which is why I’ve been neglecting my blog. I think I need a week off to recover. So this is just a quick message to say thank you for posting comments and keeping the blog going while I’ve been busy :)

I’ve particularly enjoyed reading about your Snow Days. We don’t get more than the occasional half inch of snow in England nowadays, but finally this week we’ve had nearly a foot! Yay! I love snow. And my son has had TWO snow days off school so he was very pleased. We went sledging which was wonderful.

I will start my New Year’s Resolution to be more organised next week (which will hopefully mean more regular posts). Right now I have to go tidy the clutter and chaos that has built up around the house while I’ve been chained to my keyboard.

Next week I start on OTS 2 (Cherith has already finished OTS 1!) I’m loving being soooo busy, but I really could do with a long sleep.
